::Cute and cozy. I just loved the breakfast made with local food like cheese and ham and homemade buns were great too. Such a great location and extra close to the ferry. Sauna was nice too!

::A stylish and picturesque B&B right next to the Sottunga harbour â just a 10-minute bike ride from a charming village shop. This lovely guesthouse has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. We originally planned to stay just one night, but ended up staying for two. The rooms in the main house are spacious, and peaceful, with calming sea view. The couple who run the place are incredibly kind and helpful people. The whole place is guided by the principle: âsimplicity is beautyâ. Everything is done with care and intention â no unnecessary frills, just high quality and genuine warmth. The breakfast is made with local ingredients, and the rooms are serene and tastefully decorated. This is not a quickly assembled tourist spot with Ikea furniture, but an authentic guesthouse in harmony with the islandâs pace and spirit. Peaceful, scenic, and full of soul â truly a place worth discovering.

::Staying here was just what was needed after several days of hiking and camping. The host, Tea, was extremely welcoming and hospitable we felt right at home! The breakfast was made fresh and all the ingredients were local. It was extra delicious!

::Stayed during bicycle island hopping. Fabulous experience with superb breakfast and unreasonable hospitality by hosts! I am already planning my next stay, this time longer and using Stranhugget B&B as a base for further exploration of archipelago. Highly recommend!

::I donât often write reviewsâwhen I do itâs because there is something extraordinary to say. And that is exactly what Strandhugget B&B wasâextraordinary! Such a warm welcome from hosts Henry and Tea. This is exactly what a B&B should be: cozy, comfortable and with lots of charm. We stayed in a little cottage, small and simple, clean and cozy. Toilets and showers close by, also very clean. The location is superb, looking out over the water and tiny islands dotted around Sottunga. Another highlight is the homemade breakfastâa feast of local ingredients. I have nothing but praise for the wonderful Henry and Teaâthey have created a lovely place that warrants a visit! Thank you! Ps. Sottunga is also a wonderful island worthy of a visit. Small and charming, we loved the old wooden church, the Salteriet and the hiking trails. The island is perfectly situated as part of the St Olav waterway. Go see it for yourself!
