  The rooms are nice and cozy and especially the bathrooms are well renovated. However several things are sadly bringing down the initial impression and it really depends on the person whether this is the right choice. Our room had a cracked sink that was a minus. For example during the hot summer months the rooms without AC get uncomfortably hot, especially for babies and the elderly people. One night in a room probably will not be an issue but several nights can become very uncomfortable. The windows open a little, but there can be very little airflow despite this and due to the way they open, direct airflow cannot take place. The room did not have any mini fridge, tv or other amenities besides a capsule coffee machine and Wi-fi. From the main entrance there is no elevator access so if you have heavy luggage, be prepared to carry to 3rd floor. The hotel is also basically nested between a building site and somekind of hospital or carehome. Depending on your preferences, this may be odd. We were greeted by nurses in white jackets driving in and made us feel we are checking in for treatment. The hotel has been in restauration state for 5 years and is still unfinished. The rooms on the top floor are finished, but the adjacent other building is an unfinished building site. During our stay, there thankfully were no building noises or dust. Personally I would recommend the hotel for singles and backbackers on bikes or one night standers.

  Great Location and Lovely Interior, but Beware of Terrible Customer Service I recently had the opportunity to stay at a hotel that promised an excellent location and boasted a beautiful interior. While the physical aspects of the hotel were indeed impressive, I was left utterly disappointed and frustrated by the abysmal customer service that overshadowed everything else. Let's start with the positives. The hotel's location was truly outstanding. Furthermore, the hotel's interior was undeniably stunning. The decor was tasteful, and the lobby exuded a sense of luxury and elegance. The attention to detail in the design and furnishings created a pleasant and inviting ambiance throughout the common areas, making for a visually pleasing experience. However, any positive aspects of my stay were overshadowed by the hotel's customer service—or lack thereof. From the moment I checked in, it i clear that the staff had no interest in providing a satisfactory guest experience.

  Extremly good service from the beginning, already when talking in the phone when reserving the rooms. Very nice design in the rooms and common areas! Soccerfield and small beach is a plus for families. Breakfast is not huge but quality is super! Huge potential left, when renovation of the facilities continues. Would highly recommend!

  A beautiful, fairly new guest house in middle of Åland main island (Godby). Large rooms nicely decorated, great local food based breakfast. A bakery in downstairs premises. Possibility to order dinner. Opportunity to launder clothes, like if bicycling. Located 800 m walking distance from Stallhagen brewpub

  Lovely place and location by a lake. Excellent breakfast with fresh local bakery products. Friendly and helpful staff! Pensionat was still under renovation, but it didn't bother us much. Hence four stars. Would visit again.
