  Mariakapellet is not just a chapel, but a small architectural masterpiece that reflects the cultural history of Mariehamn. Built by Lars Sonck and decorated with paintings by Brun​o Tuukkanen, it creates an atmosphere of calm and thoughtfulness. There is an organ inside, and services are held regularly, especially on major church holidays. However, there are also disadvantages: accessibility for people with disabilities is still limited, and you can only find the chapel if you know the route exactly. In any case, I recommend it - this place is worth seeing for those who appreciate architecture, art and spiritual silence.
