::This art gallery in placed in the most beautiful setting, in the countryside about 20 kms from Mariehamn. The building used to be an old yard house belonging to the adjoining pension house and has been recently renovated and turned into a gallery. The gallery has moved from the centre of Mariehamn and re-opened in this beautiful new location on 1st July 2021. The current exhibition by local artist Tiina Tahvanaien is stunning! The combination of the exhibition in itself and the surrounding environment creates a truly magical experience, do not miss this! The gallery owner, Leila C-M Lönnroth, will take well care of you. Apart from the bed & breakfast, Kvarnbo Pensionat, there is also a restaurant/café, Vinsmedjan, right opposite the gallery. I recommend you take the opportunity to visit there at the same time. To sum it up, if you have to prioritize your time in Åland, make sure that you keep this on your list!
