::A Hidden Gem for Camera Enthusiasts – Highly Recommended! I was genuinely amazed by the incredible collection at Ålands Fotografiska Museum. From a vast array of film and digital cameras to fascinating TV and movie equipment, the variety and depth of the exhibition far exceeded my expectations. It’s hard to believe that such a small museum houses such an extensive and well-preserved collection. The museum’s owner personally gave us a short and engaging tour, which added a personal and passionate touch to the experience. You’ll need about an hour to fully explore all the exhibition rooms in detail—and trust me, it’s worth every minute. For anyone passionate about photography or nostalgic for older tech, this place is a treasure trove. It truly feels like diving into your own childhood, surrounded by objects that once captured the world through a different lens. A must-visit spot in Åland—don't miss it!

::WOW this is a REAL museum! This by far the best museum i have ever been to! Highly recomend! It is located in an 1000 m^2 old school building and is owned by a photogrofer and his wife. Olle is a photo-enthusiast who started photographing when he was 10 years old and has been collecting photography objects for 57 years. On display in the museum there is about 4200 objects and in total they have about 17000 objects in the collection. He said a third of the wolds countries have visited the museum and many countries have also donated to the museum. You should defenetly get the guided tour! Olle is very knowledgeable, respectful and kind. He has a personal connection to the collection and you can tell he loves what he does. Don’t be afraid to ask him questions, he can answer them all. Unlike every other museums I have been to, here you get your moneys worth. wow! ❤️

::One of the best museums in Finland, by far the best in Åland. A huge, never-ending collection of cameras and camera related equipment with passionate guides. A shame the place doesn't get more attention. If you´re a photography/camera enthusiast, you should not miss this place.
