  Historical school museum in Åland. A school in the late 19th century? Located in Vårdön Strömsby. Teacher Viktor Jansson built the building in 1888 and taught and lived there until his death in 1895. The museum's school inventory has been collected from all over Åland, but some were already in the house before. The teacher's home is partially furnished with furniture from Viktor Jansson and his family

  Simply fantastic and authentic! There's still no electricity, so pay in cash and listen to the super friendly and informative guide. The entrance fee is very low. The building itself is also worth seeing.

  A neat little museum, a lovely yard.
