::I recently visited Å-Land Hospital in Mariehamn. Convenience starts with the parking lot - it's right next to the entrance, spacious, and there was always no problem finding a spot. For those who ride a bike, everything is also thought out: there's a station where you can pump up your tires. A separate entrance for emergencies is clearly marked and easy to find, which is especially important in a stressful situation. It's clean and quiet inside, the staff is attentive. I was pleased that there is a canteen in the building - you can have a snack without going outside. There is also a vending machine with food and drinks for a quick snack. The toilet is accessible to visitors, clean and well-maintained, which is also important. The overall impression is that the place is organized with care for people. Everything is in its place, and it's clear that the hospital thinks about the comfort of not only patients, but also those accompanying them.

::Excellent fast and expert help when I had forgotten some of the medicines at home. Replenishment of a few tablets was taken care of right away. At home in Helsinki, the equivalent would have taken a whole day (for a tourist) with queuing and registration. Could Åland be spared Sote, Maisa, Apot and other bureaucratic pitfalls? Thank you very much!
