  In a very nice location, a wonderful shallow sandy beach right next door. In the evenings, it's wonderful to admire the sunset. Even from breakfast you could see the sea directly. The rooms are very basic, no air conditioning, but surprisingly my own room was cool enough and the window could be opened. There was a shared fridge in the kitchen where you could keep your own snacks cold. A very personal place that exudes the buzz of history, which is not attractive on the outside, but cozy on the inside precisely because of that history and the interior that exudes nostalgia. A very peaceful place and very suitable for those who value their privacy and peace. Very good, healthy and fresh breakfast, but you won't find the typical fat-cured bacon or crackers. I didn't need them myself. It's easy to get to the place and you could park your car nearby for free. In my opinion, this is a gem precisely because of that location and peace of mind, compared to a really affordable price. The service was also really good and friendly. You will do well in Swedish or English. Some of the staff also spoke Finnish.

  Huone todella ala-arvoinen, kylpyhuone tulvi. Henkilökuntaa sai odottaa. Onneksi oli oma tuuletin mukana, että pystyi edes nukkumaan yöllä. Wifiä ei ollut. Aamupala oli niukka ja kahvilapalveluita ei ollut lähimaillakaan. Onneksi oli jotain omia eväitä mukana lapselle, koska lähellä ei ollut mitään. Lähdettiin ekan yön jälkeen, emme voi käsittää miten Viking Line voi edes tarjota tämän tasoista kohdetta. Ainoa hyvä asia oli ranta. Emme tule toiste, eikä suositella kennellekkään 👎👎👎

  Cosy, silent place. Beach really close, across the road. Only minus is that we could not find the path to the local bar. But all in all, good place for resting.

  Clean, decent hotel in Eckerö. Owner/operator is very nice person. Rooms were spacious, very clean, shower had plenty of warm water and good pressure. While it is a three star hotel it does offer breakfast, a decent book library (mainly Swedish), and a small kids play room and larger TV room. Good outdoor seating for breakfast. Some rooms have an awesome view of the ocean. Thirty minute drive to Mariehamn. If you want to avoid the bustle of the city and see a bit more of Åland this is a decent option.
